- The Arab Open University hosts executive education programs (short courses for people who do not attend university, (except for programs such as the MBA) and/or vocational training programs open to the public. Press here, and also.
- The Arab Open University offers educational outreach activities, such as specially designed lectures or demonstrations, off-campus, for example, in local schools or the community. This can include student-run volunteer schemes. Press here, and also.

- The Arab Open University seeks to qualify its students and enhance their professional readiness through distinguished university initiatives aimed at bridging the skills gap between academic education and labor market needs, and to strengthen its pioneering role in providing innovative educational models and building effective partnerships with the public and private sectors. Among the most prominent of these initiatives are: (A) "4 in 4" Initiative: This initiative enables students to obtain one professional certificate in each academic year, which enhances their employment opportunities immediately after graduation.
